I am currently a Junior at Blue Valley High School. Last semester I was enrolled in CAPS which was a really cool experience. I got involved with a lot of science outreach programs and other organizations. I recently joined yearbook which is a new thing to me. It is interesting seeing the steps it takes to make the school yearbook, and just how much work the students and teachers put into it. So far this year I have really enjoyed US History and my CAPS class. I have always some what enjoyed history so I find that every year I am always interested in learning about the history of world. I took the Environmental Science and Animal Health class at CAPS and it was really cool. It was nice being able to leave the traditional school setting and attending a different "school" for a few hours a day. We went on many field trips through out the semester, including the zoo, the arboretum, The Missouri Animal Rehabilitation Center, and nature parks. Honestly, the one thing I am mostly looking forward to this semester, is to just finish the year. Junior year is the most stressful year with college and ACT, so I am excited to getting this year out of the way, and become a senior.
